Lars double bass drumming conspiracy
I made this because another user who was at the Nimes show said he didn't play the double bass like it sounds on the DVD. I made this to get your opinions.
However, some of you lower IQ fans are missing the point. This is not a Lars bashing video. I love metallica and lars(hence my best of lars double bass drumming) But Im also not a pussy and am not afraid to see things the way they are. Most of you guys are giving good comments and opinions on the difference in sounds here and your own experiences seeing them live. I personally have seen with my own eyes Lars completely do nothing with his feet when he should have been playing double bass on battery and several other songs. It was shocking and disappointing especially as a drummer myself. Also during other double bass parts I can clearly hear him play quarter or half notes on the bass drum instead of doubling up. If you play the drums you may know what im trying to explain by that. On the other hand I have seen him rip up some double bass. It makes me happy when he does. So anyway leave your comments and experiences....but don't bash or accusing me of bashing Lars. And Yes I know its not Lar's....somebody please laugh so jackasses with spelling comments will leave.

UFC 118: Toney accidently knocks out sparing partner

I made this video in 5 minutes after work one day, over a year ago. Its when I first got into youtube. get over it. James Toney sucks
4:37 that was uncalled for
I think Dyers Eve was the only Metallica song that had a blast beat in it.
@shamicentertainment1262 is shaming Lars for many years and they spread lies that Lars cannot play the drums. Just a little pimple on Lars's @$$ and insignificant to the Music Industry for Lars to care but if you care then drop some names on that failed channel
🤘👽🤘
back in the 80s and early 90s I spent money on buying their music. nowadays I download everything for free havnt spent a cent on music in 20 years. I wonder how much money Lars thinks I owe him
He's not the best drummer, he's the Metallica's drummer
Jason newsted…bless his heart and his chiropractor 😂😂😂
This was when Metallica was METALLICA.
For all the haters out there how many hit songs have you help write? How many platinum records do you have on your wall? He's more than a drummer people he is A huge part of the song writing and arranging. I'm sure that goes over most people's heads though.
I understand he’s not the greatest drummer technically speaking or performance wise but he clearly had his heyday as a drummer but age catches up with us all the guy has relentlessly toured and written and recorded with Metallica since the 80’s fans need to give him the respect he deserves
Lars should get his big ol’ white drum kit back its been hella missed
So what to say. He has proven himself. Now he is one of the greatest and the richest drummer in the world. Your video and your question is gona change nothing brother.
Actually, lars is a Very good drummer in his unique way 👍
Lars may not be as technically gifted as; say Joey, Gene, or even Charlie. But here are my rebuttals to anyone’s argument: Fight Fire with Fire. Battery. Dyers Eve. Broken, Beat, & Scarred. All Nightmare Long. Moth Into Flame. Lux Æterna. Any questions? *mic drop
wtf is dave talkin about saying hes not a good drummer sure hes not the best but hes not bad 😂
I like lars as a lot as a drummer don't get me wrong, he's actually been a big influence to me for me to start to drumming. But honestly he just stopped practicing and got lazy at one point. He wasn't bad at all back in the kill em all days live he played the shit identical to the album version. Who could forget MOP fills too. Some of the best I've heard really. Is he a lombardo or gar or nick menza ofcourse not but he doesn't really need to be. Napster where all the hate probably truly started lol
ALL CONCERTS ARE JUST PRE RECORDED AIR GUITAR AN LYP SYNC
100% non of them play on a real recording ...all studio musicians
HES A REPTILAN ....GIVE IT ANOTHER YR AN USE WILL SEE ......THEY LIVE .....THAT THE MAJORITY ARE , OPEN UR SHALLOW MEDIA EDUCATED FEED MINDS ....OR IS EVERYTHING IN THE WORLD JUST FINE ;)
Yeah its kinda easy to forget that once upon a time Lars was a pioneer of thrash drumming and was really good at it
only problem, is everyone worries bout James
Question...what concert is the first 4 Horsemen from ? 0:17 to 0:24
Come on guys...talk to me. It's an important question
Lar's
Lars has literally the hardest drumming job keeping up with James style…he’s one of the best at thrash, he created that…how can you hate?? Playing this type of drumming constant of course your gonna have times you mess up
Joey's Jiraiyaa
ive only listened to the first 4 albums but holy shit what song is 0:47 ???? sounds so good
My apocalypse It’s on death magnetic
All Nightmare Long
I fukn played drums for years and Lars is one of my gods his double bass was always on point and if your not a drummer the way he would offset his bass drums in songs that shit is hard and to stay on beat!
1:40 lol
To compare Lars with modern drummers is like comparing Charlie Watts or Ringo Starr with Lars. And I’m no Lars Fan at all
Cool, i didnt know Lars knew how to play double bass.
I dont care what anyone says Lars is the best drummer to exist!!!!!!!
Lars is a drum god, all haters shall DIE! Lars 1989 is especially his most godlike drum apperance.
LOL PRO music metalica the best of !!!
Lars is daddy
sigit iLhammudrikahrio
Lars is no Portnoy, Harrison or Heller but what he did for Metallica’s songs were perfect - because they wouldn’t be this huge without that pulse. And come on man, Battery’s a monster that playing it would give you enough workout for a day.
I had to wait til the end of the video😂
Lar's
What's the song at 0:49
All nightmare long
Heh...
Take a look at the show in Quebec 1986!
0.53 what song?
0:47 i know most of us came here for Lars, but dude even if i used 4 of my fingers i still would'nt be able to do that
Kick snare kick snare lmao
He’s not terrible, he just needs to practice more.
This is probably the worst drumming ever.
One of the best drummers of all time
@@user-go3nd6mw4e No I mean it. Guy's half his age lack his stamina & enthusiasm.
The best and the worst at the same time
there's just something"Not tight" about lars live ,..can't place it ,... but he always sounds off,... if u go LIVE TO A METALLICA show YOU "knOW " THIS AND HAVE SEEN IT FOR YERSELF TOO
I wish there was more camera time spent on him throughout the 80s and 90s. His hair was absolutely gorgeous during those days 😍
I have to say, my favorite
